The University of New Mexico’s indoor mask mandate will remain in place, unless otherwise announced, until University leadership reviews the Governor’s updated health order, which was announced today modifying the State’s mask mandate. Masks remain available to those who need them when they are on campus.
The New Mexocp Higher Education Department has advised colleges and universities that they can make independent decisions about COVID-19 safe practices, and UNM has remained consistent in its approach to safeguarding the health and well-being of its communities through thoughtful and data-informed decision-making, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
