Frazee Firefighters Relief Auction: The 14th Annual Frazee Firefighters Relief Association Auction will take place from 5-9 p.m. inside the Frazee Event Center. There will be live and silent auctions, horse races, games, raffles and more.
Lakes Area Community Concert Band: The Lakes Area Community Concert Band performs its annual spring concert at 4 p.m. on the main stage of the Historic Holmes Theatre, 806 Summit Ave., Detroit Lakes. These talented area musicians will perform classic wind band compositions, spirited marches, music from Broadway and more. The performance is free and open to the public, though free will donations are accepted.

National Arbor Day Celebration: This year marks the 150th anniversary of the tree planter’s holiday, Arbor Day, and Detroit Lakes will commemorate the occasion with a special tree planting event at the Rotary Soccer Fields from 9 a.m. to noon, reflecting the 33 years that Detroit Lakes has been designated a “Tree City USA.” The event is open to the public.
